I will say one thing about the comment I made about Google being the most innovative. Innovation is great, but it ain’t everything. It’s not the whole equation. Execution is what really matters. Apple is the best at execution.

Walter Isaacson on Bloomberg TV, clarifying his earlier comment about Google being more innovative than Apple.

Isaacson, of course, was the guy who wrote “Steve Jobs”, the biography of the late head of Apple. His previous work includes biographies of Ben Franklin and Albert Einstein. Basically, why anyone gives a crap about what this guy has to say about the tech industry is beyond me (especially since a lot of the criticism of the book was that he didn’t understand Jobs’ work in the tech industry, or really the tech industry in general), but good on this guy for milking it out, I guess.
